Yes, we do! Our Arborist Representative team has more than 75 years of arboriculture experience amongst them. Each of our crews is lead by a certified arborist.
That depends on where you live. Many (but not all) municipalities on our area require a permit for tree removal; some also require one for major pruning. Please visit our Tree Permits page for details specific to your location.
We are a member of the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
We love animals and always want to ensure that they (and our crews) are safe. Please make sure to do these two things before we arrive:
- Pets must be inside. Any other animals must be unable to get into our work zone.
- Animal waste must picked up prior to crew arrival.
Yes, we do. Tree work happens all year round in the Portland Metro Area. There are a few things that keep us out of the trees though; high wind speeds, dangerous ice or snow load on the trees, and lightning in the area. If conditions are unsafe to operate in, we will need to reschedule the work.
Yes, all of our employees speak English.
No, we do not pay for wood value from tree removals. In fact, many of our customers opt to keep the wood from their tree removal for use as firewood. Our specialty is tree services, not wood sales. The only exception would be a Black Walnut tree in good condition.
Commercial Tree Service is a large part of our overall client base. We often think of residential trees needing care and pruning but we are well equipped and staffed to handle commercial jobs. We can provide contract service or a onetime service. The best thing to do is give us a call so we can discuss your needs.
Estimates, Proposals & Scheduling
Yes, we provide free estimates for all our tree care services, including tree removal, tree pruning, stump grinding, and tree health care services. In some cases, we are hired for Arboricultural Consulting on issues that require more time and in-depth evaluation, such as in cases of insurance damage claims, tree preservation plans, arborist reports, etc. However, we can give you a free estimate for these paid consulting services as well.
An estimate from one of our certified arborist representatives includes the scope of work and cost for each item listed on the proposal. The estimates are sent electronically (by email), are easy to understand, and should address all your concerns with an expert solution.
While it's not always necessary to be present, we strongly encourage you to be there. Your proposal is always personalized to meet your needs. To do that, it's best if we have a chance to meet with you and examine your property together. That way, you can help us understand your objectives for the work, as well as any limitations or other factors we need to be aware of.
We cannot provide a proposal or quote without visiting the site. Each tree and location is unique. Our arborist representative needs to examine the tree its and surroundings to be able to give an accurate quote.
The cost to prune or remove a tree depends on several factors. Prices will generally be higher if any of these apply:
- Larger and taller trees
- Job sites with more obstacles around the tree (such as power lines and nearby buildings)
- Hazardous trees that require special equipment and training to handle safely
- Obstructions that make it difficult to remove the tree material from the job site
There are 3 simple ways to accept a proposal.
- Accept the proposal electronically from the link in the email we send to you with the proposal information.
- Print the proposal, sign it, and mail the signed document to 121 Foothills Rd. Lake Oswego, OR.
- Print and sign the proposal, then scan it and return it to us via email.
After you have accepted a proposal, the office call you to schedule your service. We do the scheduling every Thursday. If you need to be scheduled right away, please give our office a call at 503-473-8733.
We accept payment by personal check, cash, Visa or American Express. Please note that there will be a 3% convenience fee added to your invoice for credit card payments.
We send you an invoice and you are welcome to pay on the job site, give a cheque to the crew or pay online.
